I had a slight (10%) overclocked prescott cooled by my Ninja with a Scythe S-Flex 1200rpm fan at 11V during games and 5V in idle.
The prescots beats every cpu when it comes to high heat

McBanjo, would you agree that of the three brands you named, seasonic and corsair are probably the most reliable and therefore the best choices? According to what I read they are the best or among the best. There is ofcourse exceptions in Antec lines but as a generell rule they are good. There exci...

@McBanjo, like the unconventional airflow design, not sure the bottom fans add too much to the confection airflow. They do, but I can run the computer without them and still be within temp-limits. Just a bit to high for my taste and I can't hear them anyway :) I will probibly create something simul...

I have to disagree about the functionality. The Decomatic is the only entry with a video card (nVIDIA 7600GS). The others all use onboard graphics. Not your fault. Odd that people automatically assume that the wooden computer is also the slowest. (Low-tech case=Low-tech computer???) Intel never pub...

Re: Even though it is going against convection...
...I think that perhaps if you reversed the airflow it would cool better (e.g. intake is at the motherboard, the PSU is reversed so the fan points down, the bottom fan is an exhaust). Of course, then you'd have issues with sucking in hot air blown out by the bottom fan... d'oh! Otherwise, neat desi...

How this works? In brief, it manages the following: output voltages and load on each rail, power fan speed tweak, localized or preset temperature monitors, power supply lighting control, proximity warning bells and even present user modes for performance, normal use or silent operation. This equate...
