ok I got a Antec Fusion (the new model)

I'm currently just using this case as a HTPC, it's running on a HD2400Pro. Anyway, I'm planning to turn this HTPC into a full gaming rig in the up coming months and I was wondering if the big cards like HD4870 would fit in this case (length wise) and I don't think the bundled 450w PSU would be enough?

I'm looking for video cards capable of full HD video play-back for HD-DVD/Blu Ray @ 1920x1080 resolutions.

Currently building a HTPC so yeah, opinions needed :D

ninja back plate, ruined

today i took the ninja off and realized that the back plate has permanently melted itself onto the motherboard, i can force peel the metal plate off but the rubber foam bit is stuck on the board for ever, force remove it will only result in a "peeling sticky tape off toilet paper" type of situation....

How bad can it be for a system running 24/7, with a constant high load? i honestly don't get why would people run their rig @ absolute peak load for 24/7? if you leave ur computer on to download then everything is @ idle and doesn't c...

Re: 8800GTX SLI system with Phantom 500

Recommended Wattage: 444 Watts Basicly this system will consume 444 watts of power at peak load. Do you guys think my Phantom 500 is up for the challenge? The calculator says "Recommended PSU Wattage" which to me means NOT the consumption of the rig under load my 1st post says Basicly this system w...

exactly, the website says a minimum of +12v @ 30A for the ENTIRE sli rig, but jokoto says a SINGLE 8800GTX needs 30A.

where you get that from? the PSU calculator shows a single 8800GTX only draws 14.3 amps

sorry guys but i'm confused as heck after reading all the info in this thread. Some one please break it down for me, is dual +12v rails good or bad? or it has pros and cons? I see all SLi certified PSU now have 3 or even 4 +12v rails.

thnx in advance

can the ultra 120 be installed horizontally? im asking this because the HR-03 plus, needs plenty of clearance with a 92mm fan installed and i fear the Ultra 120 might be in its way when installed vertically.

do some research on how heatpipes work. they don't rely on gravity, they use wicks and capillary action draws cool fluid back to the base. Look at my sig, if the HR-03 relied on gravity, my video card would have melted by now. quoting legion hardware's review on the HR-03 Plus If you are to ensure ...

this doesnt look like a rip off, more like a rebranded Antec Phantom 500, the aluminum heat sink is identical to the ones used on the Phantom.

Bottom line, HR-03 is NOT SLi compatible as it's advertised. check the tweaknews review, they mount one card with the HR-03 on Top, and one wrapped around, sli connectors are unhindered. that will work yes, but heat pipe relies on gravity heavily for its oil to flow back to its heat sink base, in t...
