My Ninja rev b allows my overclocked 3700+ (2700Mhz at 1.45V) to idle at around 40 degrees with the stock fan at under 800rpm. It's silent but I would like it to be lower, and I believe it should be. However, I think I did damage some of the heat pipes by using the long screws instead of the shorter...

I have my SOLO system up and running now. The Glacialtechs in the front are silent when running at the lowest setting my Silverstone fan controller puts out, but they do create some noise running at full speed. However, the noise is quite broadband and low in tone so it is not especially off putting...

Ok, I just received the Glacialtech 92mm's. The label on the back states that they are rebranded Everflow fans, part number F129025SL, and they have 5 blades instead of the usual 7. From spinning the fan blades around with my finger, the motor feels a little "clicky" although I can't hear any noise...

I can comment on this as the X1950XT is basically a X1900XT but with higher clock speeds. I have tried a variety of PSU's with my system, a 460W Tagan, a 400W Enermax Liberty and the one in my sig. The Tagan was too loud when the fan ramped up, the Enermax could not supply enough power and caused th...

In the end for my SOLO build (which still isn't complete) I purchased 2 black 5.25" hard drive coolers from this ebay seller. A direct link to the actual product is here . International shipping was very reasonable, especially when you consider the strong £. I have installed them minus the fans and...

Hello, Apparently, there is a 92mm GlobalWin NCB fan made, but outside of the Hong Kong website, I can't find it for sale. This could be a very quiet, and durable, 92mm fan. Yes, I have some 120mm GolbalWin NCB's that have been used in various applications. Anyway, I have ordered the Glacialtechs a...

Regrading the vented covers, anyone have a couple to spare? Coolermaster sell mesh 5.25" bay covers from their online parts store and Lian Li also do some. I am in the UK and the links I have found are: http://www.coolermaster.nl/shop/index.php http://www.aqua-pcs.co.uk/index.asp?function=DISPLAYPR...

You could try the Glacialtech Silentblade ( link ) on paper it's good but I've never tried it. Those do look interesting and the specs look like exactly what I am after. However, we all know how misleading they can be! To give you an idea of what I am after, I require two fans to go at the front of...

Good looking Thermaltake products(!) TMG Coolers
Hey guys, It looks as though Thermaltake has come up with some good products, although most likely licensed from Arctic Cooling. They are their TMG graphics card coolers: http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Cooler/TMG/vgacooler.asp They fit all new cards from ATI and nvidia and some of them direct ho...

Well, I managed to create some stretch magic drive holders in the hard drive bay of my Aurora, which I have to say was one of the most testing things I have ever done. However, it was certainly worth the effort, as all resonance has been banished! The thin aluminium construction and hard mounts for ...

I'm really surprised that you decided to duct the Solo. It seems like a large added expense for a small gain. It is all hand built and taped together. I guess that is what the buyers are paying for though, a real SPCR worthy computer without all the work. Actually, once a cutting template has been ...
