fastturtle the 6150 is good gpu provided your not gaming. if this is setup is just for normal net use or htpc then it should work fine. i got a 6100 based board on the way with 1gig ram, and sst-365 psu to run the whole thing.

http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-tj08.htm theres also some reviews listed on the bottom of the page. from what i can see it does look kind of sweet as a microcase two fan setup would make for pretty good cooling mods ect.

papito sorry to hear it was the board,however atleast it was replaced. what psu have you picked out to repleace the one you have? also you may want to test this new setup using the onboard graphics this time so it will be easier for you to spot trouble.

do you have a spare pci vga card to test with? this will help rule the other vga as blown or not. the smae hold true for the keyboard if you have spares use those to check, and test. if your still getting juice. theres something else worng. just my thoughts. you can wait for one of the more advance ...

This is the fan http://www.endpcnoise.com/cgi-bin/e/std ... 120mm.html i beleave most of the users here swear by as being quiet yet able to cool. you may also want to look in to some of the Panaflo models. they are known to be quiet.

McBanjo yes i know. i was just wondering how such a substantial case could be made so quiet. I was not trying to be mean with what i posted. it's just most silent pc cases i have seen have been along the lines of small form factor cases.

I have a rotron feather fan 7" 115v model while not built to SPCR spec's (NOT QUIET) it does move some massive cfm, If your looking for quiet you may want to look at 120mm or if you can find one 145mm 12v-24v models.

In Search Of Budget Psu.

Though this is my frist post here i been reading you guys info/howto's ect. well i'm looking for a low budget psu. specs of the system is listed below.

1)BioStar Tforce-939 (will use the onboard graphics.)
2)Amd 64 3000+
3)1Gig-512x2-DDR400
4)CD-RW
5)40gig 5400rpm laptop-HD/with adapter
