Can A Scythe Ninja Be Used??
Those of us with a biostar t-force or any other boards that come with a plastic backplate. can the aftermarket Scythe Ninja be used with those plastic backplates?

If it was my build i would go with socket am2 x2-3800+. Or as Howard said wait for the conroe, however one must understand there will always be new technology on the board. so someone wait for conroe by it as soon as he/she gets that it's outdated that's how fast things seem to be moving. just my th...

tomfrew you may have saved some money on the cpu's however the board to use them in is going coast you alot of money, if you can't find it on ebay . The MSI K8N Master2-FAR is $249.99 this does not include the coast of dual channel registered/ecc ram. your in for a long road or work to get this going.

Gentoo do you truly need 480 - 500 watts? from everything i have read,and been told more watts=more noise. lower watts=less noise also the efficiency on both psu's are the same. some would say that if your going 480+ on the watts you would want higher efficiency ratings 80+. anyway thats just my tho...

S12 330 or 380 psu should fit the bill, and allow for upgrades if you see fit, and as for heatsinks have you looked in to the Scythe SCNJ-1000 Ninja heatsink.
