Hey all I just finished builing my new PC, woohoo! I got a 150gb raptor which is much faster and quieter than anything I have ever had. However WinXP does not recognise the whole 150gb. Waht the? C:\ 64gb D:\ 63.9gb NOt sure how your maths are, but that sure as shiznit does not equal 150gb of space....

I strongly recommend you shop around for a nice little widescreen monitor too, leave the 4:3 to the cathode tube newbs. I also use this, and I have installed it in all of the machines at work too. "Is this a speed fan malfunction?" So if SpeedFan reports 70 deg C, the HDD is telling it's running at 70 deg C. I wouldn't doubt SpeedFan working correctly but temperature senson on the HDD might be faulty. If it's running hotter than other drives, you may have a problem... but not necessarily. 70...
