Where do you live Alaska!

If the 2 top fans are slow and NOT noisy just turn the front and make intake. Should help a lot.

Very true. What store are you looking at? Is it online?

I still think you can cut a few corners. If it is too much of course.

You may also find a 7600GT for that price and it is better. They are loud though. Would need a separate heatsink.

Looking good.

And even cheape than the current 4300.

@ Vincent. You could probably get lower V if you did all yourself. You also don't need to lower multiplier. That is what a divider (memory) is for.

quad is such a waste for games. they don't even use let alone 4 cores. maybe in 2 years minimum. It's a big upgrade. Worth waiting 3 months or so. new mobos will be out by then too.

Seems like $ may not be an issue. HD's I would get 2 minimum. 74GB 16MB Cache RAPTOR - to game you NEED. I think Westerns are a tad loud in idle. My raptor is more silent in idle than the 250GB WD. I would buy Micron based memory. You never know when you may want to OC in the future. 4400 is in a di...

When I get home I will measure. I have a DVI - HDMI adapter and the the HDMI cable is VERY thick so it sticks out a lot. I'm thinking of gatting a DVI - HDMI cable. Cuts about 3-5 inches off.

I will measure the exact length of the case and include a bit for cabling.

Don't buy ThermalJUNK. The only company with Thermal in the name worth buying is Thermalright. They are pricier but well worth it. If you look around you can find a used XP-90 and it will do very well. If you want new you can do a Ultra-90 or if you have room a hr-01 (kind of high but VEry Good). It...

MATX en Intel (OC) = NO-GO.

If you can wait a bit. ABIT is releasing new mobos and rumor is they may OC well. They have a new one, IP95, but I won't suggest as it is an old chipset. ABIT - Reclaim- I believe them.

The problem with INTEL OC is the chipset. None good is available.

I would wait on anything like this./ There seems to be a few PS3 going dead and you will probably lose warranty the moment you open.

What you can do is make a custom box, put the PS3 in there, and have 1 fan bring in fresh air and one pulling air out.

I 4got to put that as well. The 1.9 dual comes, forced combo on newegg, with a cheapie TFORCE mobo. The chipset is NOT passive. You may have to buy a replacement. If you go AMD AM2 I reco 2 MATX boards (if you're willing integrated video); ABIT NF-M2 Nview and an EPOX 6100. Cheapest mem I could find...

It may work with that mobo but are all sockets in other mobos in the same area? That may pose a problem.

There is also the Ultra 120 but that thing is huge.

It's obvious u aren't OCing so you don't need a board with SLI. Hey, you might even want to go with an MATX with integrated video. If it will be pure audio recording you don't need a VC. Put that $ you save towards more memory. It is better spent. 2x1GB sticks. Speaking of memory you need DDR2 800 f...

Yes. I have an XP 120 and the SI is just taller and a tiny bit wider. I also have an 7950 in there as well. You can undervolt in windows.

Get the Nview. 1gb stick. 800gives you room for OC but 667 is ok. You can always use a divider.

You can undervolt it. I would also find a PSU with the intake fan on the back. That way the PSU and heatsink dont fight for air. I believe the Antec Neo have fan on back.
