I think E8xxx was used because it's the only Core 2 Duo lineup that supports virtualization that is required to run XP mode under Windows 7 and XP mode is very useful for companies that keep running old proprietary software.

Problem is that I have too high temps with the passive HR-01 (without the duct... it wasn't in the package)... 50C idle... 72 with Orthos or TAT, but the cooler itself doesn't feel hot......

Would HR-01 fit on F-I90HD? It has quite a big heatsink.
