I think E8xxx was used because it's the only Core 2 Duo lineup that supports virtualization that is required to run XP mode under Windows 7 and XP mode is very useful for companies that keep running old proprietary software.

High temps with HR-01 in TJ-08

Hi, I have a Silverstone TJ-08, C2D E6300, Asrock Conroe945G, Samsung HD501LJ, 2 Nexus@800-900rpm, Corsair 520W. Problem is that I have too high temps with the passive HR-01 (without the duct... it wasn't in the package)... 50C idle... 72 with Orthos or TAT, but the cooler itself doesn't feel hot......

Yes... red Enermax I'm pretty sure it's the Zalman because it's clear difference when I stop it with a finger. The PSU has a hum that's inaudible at 1m. And I can clearly hear the noise from the right side (where the nexus are) but if I stop both Nexus it doesn't make any difference. Now I've found ...

I haven't screwed the bottom grommets.
I'm waiting to buy the new drive and then I'll decide about suspension, because I really like a solid aproach.
