They just use whatever fan comes with the heatsink I see nothing strange or wrong with that per se, look, when buying a car (for instance) you wouldn’t go replacing the tyres that came with the car for some race dittos, most of us anyway, but use the tyres it came with. Don’t get me wrong, I do...

?Can this really be true? Do you believe it? What do you think? I never bother with the stock cooler(s) so I have no idea, but trying the fan out would be easily and quick enough done. ...Interesting list, and oh my, had forgotten about Glacialtech! Was a long time since I came in contact with any ...

Reversing the fan means that you will be pulling the hot air through the fins and directing it back towards the heat source. . Not reversing the fan would mean that hot air coming from the RAM and VRAM module/s would be pulled through the fins and out at the bottom of the case, hot air rises. Rever...

Interesting approach used for tidying up the IDE cable to the XFI-card, when I had the front panel connected (for about two days) I used an exacto knife, your way is faster. ...and for God's sake man; clean_the_system ---> cut the fags ---> and shoot the darn pet, yes! ... Or you could jus...

A great review of a superb case, bought this one for my game system (was time to ditch the Solo, too many modifications), this puppy handles my CF setup with no problems what so ever, in fact, the thermal results were really good at stock and even better now. Rumour has it (as a rumour would) … th...

You described the American dream yet not everyone is their own race car meaning that in order for them to race they need to serve the stable owner which makes them dependent. This idea suggest free racing and those who whish to race harder are free to do so, ok, fine with me. Anyways... I don’t ne...

The built-in HDD suspension mounts are killer; it's what I asked to be integrated into the P180 and Antec decided to put them in here instead. :? A real shame Mike, it should of been included and it’s unfortunate that Antec didn’t listen. But; you got to develop a darn fine piece of case there ...

What is Lian-Li doing here? There is a one-piece assembly in the mid-section, inserted through the front, with a 12cm fan: My guess would be that its there to bring in cool air over the heatsink/motherboard area, and that its removable giving you 4 5.25" bays in total, should you ever need that ins...

There are many ways you can look at this, this is just but one. Most are like the woman who is being abused by her husband, in the sense that they keep coming back for more expecting them to change, then they get a new one (using metaphor) and presto; next week they’re abused again yet with this n...

New Scythe Heatsink – Kabuto

Note:
Did a search in the CPU cooling section and couldn’t find any previous posts regarding this cooler, so, I decided to put it up here.
Oh, I apologize for no quick linkys; couldn’t get them working for some reason.
