Yeah, the 6yr warranty does make it rather confusing. Especialy as that's what Noctua give their fans.

I cant see a fan lasting 6-8 months having a 6yr warranty..... It'd drive AC nuts with all the RMAs! Even assuming not all people will bother!

I also havent heard anything in reviews about low lifetimes compared to the specs.
