I've had the NeoHE 430 since about Jan 07. I've had lots of problems with the combination of the Asus P5N-E SLI mobo and the neo. I had to rma my mobo and finally got a stable setup. I recently tried to add another 2 gig memory (two sticks) in addition to the 2x512 that I had already (both crucial B...

There was a problem with some mobo's (especially ASUS) but that should be fixed now. Just make sure that where ever you buy the PSU from, turns there stock regularly. I would suggest getting it direct from Antec if you can. Just avoid buying from someplace where it may have been sitting on there she...

With the Tri-powered fan set to 'medium' and the stock Intel CPU cooler without the Qfan turned on  Don't you find that kinda loud ? No, It's actually very quiet. The vid card is loud at start-up but then quiets down. The loudest thing in my system is the DVD burner when it's spinning. I sho...

What OS are you running. I don't think XP-32 will recognize more than 3gig of ram, no matter how much you put in. I'd look into that before buying more than 3gig ram. from my P5N E-SLI manual "if you install Windows XP-32... less than 3gig is recomended" "System may detect less than 8gb system mem w...

Check out Antec's B-stock site. They have that same case for $23.xx. I bought my P150 from B-stock and I can't find a single blemish on it.

I've got the E6600 on an Asus P5N E-SLI with 1gig ram and BFG GeForce 7600GT OC in the Antec P150 case with NeoHE 430W PSU. One WD 320g SATA drive and one DVD burner. With the Tri-powered fan set to 'medium' and the stock Intel CPU cooler without the Qfan turned on, my idle temps are about 34ºC - C...

Hey, I posted on this thread before, but I stopped after I continued to have problems after swapping the NeoHE 430w for a Smartpower 350w. I assumed that the PSU was not the problem (and it was one of the newer A4 versions). I continued to have great problems with the Asus P5N E-SLI motherboard. Aft...

I think most of the ideas in the original post are off the mark. I can't imagine mandating power or time usage will work. (how are you going to tell every business in the country/world that they can only operate for a couple of hours a day). I agree with the 'if you don't need it don't buy it' angle...

OK, probably my last post in this thread. I swapped out the PSU for an Antec 350W smartpower. At first it seemed like it fixed the problem. I was able to shut down and restart several time with out any problems. I tried playing a game and it locked up. I turned some of the graphics down and tried ag...

Why waste your time with asking Antec or other makers to provide black interiors? Why not just take the case down to you local auto body shop and get a custom paint job? Maybe you could get them to do a nice iridescent (the kind that changes color depending on what angle you look at it) job on the o...

Here's my only Antec experience. I ordered a P150 from their B-stock site I ordered from Antec direct (also in CA) it took them 10 days to get it to me. They shipped it 'signature required' so I had to take a day off from work to wait for it. I got an automated call from UPS that it would be deliver...

I just build a new pc and ordered everything but the case/psu from new egg. I ordered on Friday morning and had the package at my door on 11am Monday. When I went home last night I tried to start the pc up and it froze on the 'welcome' screen. I hit the reset button and it powered up. I shut it down again and opened the case up to make sure all the connections were correct. I found one problem. The connector for the front panel 'fire wire' was not...

I got my P150 yesterday and already I'm having problems. They don't seem to be the same problems as everyone else is reporting (power shutting down...). I have: Intel C2D E6600 CPU Asus P5N E-SLI Mobo BFG 7600GT vid western digital 320gig SATA HD Samsung DVD player/burner. The PSU NeoHE 430W has an ...

I've checked out the Solo, but through Antec's B-stock site I can get the P150 with the PSU cheaper than the Solo with no PSU. At least it sounds like Antec is trying to fix the problem. I think I'll just get the P150 and check the PSU when I get it. If It's old or I have any problems with my ASUS m...

NoiseFreeGuy: Where did you buy it from? Did you buy it from Antec's web site or from a retailer. I've been thinking about getting the P150 but I know the PSU is crap (or might be). On Antec's web site they have a B-stock section with discounted boxes because of cosmetic blemishes. I'm assuming I'm ...
