Replacement Fan for ASUS Silent Square Pro
Hey, i have a ASUS Silent Square Pro, cooling my Quad-Core CPU. Its doing ok, but the 92mm fan between the alu fins is LOUD. From abit of internet, i discovered that the fan is the Sunon 92mm (KD1209PTS2) fan spinning at 2400rpm, producing 32dBA of sound, blowing 44CFM of air. I've already ordered t...

yeah, just discovered this thread on suspension in the v1000: http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16156 its seems like maybe there is enough room if the drive rails are taken off. I've now taken out one of the cages, and removed the drive rails. Now all i need is the stretchy cables...

thanks, and yeah i'll give it a try, i was just worried that there wasn't enough space between the side of the drive and the cage itself. Once i get the cable, I guess i'll have to make a thread myself with some pics and results, so it'll be easier for all you to give me some silencing suggestions. ...

No sure if i can suspend it in the 3.5"" cages, there doesn't seem to be much room on the sides for the ela...

Sadly its an SATAII drive and my motherboard only has standard SATA drive ports. SATA II drives, at least both of my Samsungs, work fine on regular SATA ports. There's a jumper (supplied with the HDD) that is set for SATA "I" operation. No bridge or other cable required. You won't get SATA II perfo...

Sadly its an SATAII drive and my motherboard only has standard SATA drive ports. But i didnt give up, and using google, i came across a SATA -> SATAII Bridge Cable (KB-109P...
