I'm BOINCING right now at 80% CPU, Intel's PDF says for 84W Celeron Ds, they have therm spec of ~67C (though processor finder says 61C) Speedfan sys System 38C CPU 56C AUX 48C HD0 43C Temp1 50C So I need not worry? I still kind of though because this same system last died (and revived now) because o...

Do you fold 24/7? Notice throttling or anything? Especially with cramped HTPC space? Currently my Prescott I run 12-18hr out of a day.

Is Merom hotter than Conroe[?]
Thermal Specification of Merom is 100C while for Conroe is 60C on Intel's site meaning Merom can run hotter (and maybe is hotter). So even though it uses less energy, if building HTPC, ignoring price, does Merom generate any noticeable heat?

Crunching 24/7?
Does anyone here crunch 24/7? I'm a WCG user, CPU usage is around 50-100% when BOINC is on, tempereature is 55-59C (! Intel says my CPU's thermal specification is 61C) compared to normal 50C.
How much CPU does Folding use? Any reliability problems with crunching 24/7? Throttling?

Shuttle quad core workstation?
http://us.shuttle.com/ConfigurePackage.aspx?package=SYP2-3700-W Looks like a beast. Not that I'll ever get one but what would you imagine the noise to be, cramped in that little box? Also any ideas on the actual size? I can't imagine that power (heat) would be more than my current Prescott though. E...
