I agree with jessekopelman on almost everything, you can't go wrong with these components: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129034 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128090 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103255 http://www.newegg...

Seems to be a good idea. You would avoid the warmer water going to the GPU after cooling the CPU, by having two completely separate cooling systems. The two hotter components would not affect each others temperature. Have you considered having a normal radiator in the middle of the circuit instead o...

Thanks for the feedback. I did not realize the Black Edition does not come with a HSF. Adding a Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 (U$ 20.00) would be the option then. The computer will have more than one session active at the same time, so it's going to need a lot of memory, 4GB now and maybe another 4GB in...

New build, similar prices, low budget: AMD or Intel?
I need a computer for basic office/internet applications, running Vista. It has to be fast and cheap. Until now, I have come up with these two options: AMD + onboard video: Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHz 65W Black Edition...-> U$ 85.00 GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-S2H 780G HDMI.............-> U$ 100.00 mushkin 4GB...

From what I've read (never tried it) it will fit, but you have to cut the drive cage. Like this: http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/6749/image03rk1.th.jpg gtunney, check this thread, the choice of components is very good. http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=41356&highlight=solo+880...

It seems, based on the reviews on SPCR, that the best combination for you would be Antec Solo + Corsair 520. That is, if you will not use the 8800 GTX. The case is very good looking and the HDD suspension is nice. You could also have the P150, that comes with another PW. Here are the links. Good Luc...
