So there is an NSK2480 Mini? The link you posted is for the 'Big' NSK2480. Only one version of 2480 AFAIK. BUT: The new NSK1480 looks very promising. A bit smaller but still able to use a microAtx motherboard and (apparently) normal full-height-pci cards. http://www.antec.com/pdf/flyers/NSK1480_fly...

Re: LIGHT WEIGHT fan for core 2 duo
Hi! I’m looking for a light weight CPU fan. The maximum weight for a cooler is specified as 450g for Intel Socket 775. Some cooling solutions reach more than the double. I want to be able to move my case without fear! You might want to take a look at this thread: http://www.silentpcreview.com/for...

I personally am using the Hyper Tx on a 2.66GHz E6400 and it's a nice cooler. The top fan speed is rated at 1800, but SpeedFan says it's spinning at ~1900 at 12v. When I first installed it, I could not hear the fan spinning. As I changed the rpms from 50-100%, I could not tell any difference in noi...

what about a Gemini? you could always take fishing wire and tie it around the fans and then over to the PSU or a 5.25" bay to keep it secure, keep your CPU cool, and with the right fans, quiet. Do you mean the CoolerMaster Geminii? At 847g it is quite heavy. Then I would much prefer simply installi...

I appreciate the feedback! :) Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro PWM could be pretty good too. Although Intel versions seems to be bit more noisy than AMD's. I read the review on this site, and it seems like it is not really efficient enough to cool a 105w cpu silently. Scythe Katana 2 is 535 grams with f...

Low-weight cooler for Q600 quad-core cpu
Hi, I am building a new computer with an Intel Q6600 2.4ghz Quad-Core cpu. The TDP is 105W. I will not be overclocking the cpu. In general I will be using silentpcreview reference items, but I am a bit concerned about cpu coolers weighing 700g or more - I would prefer it was closer to Intels recomme...
