P180 v2 with HR-03 and central fan
Hi, I'm pretty sure people have thought of this before but I just can't seem to find a post about this on the forums so I made one myself. I am thinking about using the HR-03 on my graphics board but instead of using a 90mm fan I think I will use a 120mm yate loon at 5v attached to the central VGA c...

Noise Insulation Foam in P180 v2
Does anyone have any suggestions for using noise insulation foam on the Antec P180? I've previously used a .5mm (lawl, really thin eh) on both side panels on my P180 case and it has turned out to be disastrous on the right side panel (currently attempting to remove it with adhesive removers) but the...

Currently, I'm extremely unsatisfied, Lawl. My original plan was for a gaming computer with UV reactive contents viewable through the side window (Lexa case I had intended to buy). Apparently it turned into a Silent PC project but I failed to redo my shopping list and apparently a few parts were alr...

... why on earth would you want to put a 620W PSU into such a low power system??? a 380 earthwatts or similar would be more appropriate. anybody would think that you'd been fished in by the FUD on gamerz websites/forums ;) Lawl, it's nice to plan ahead incase I decide to upgrade my PC (which should...

Lawl, the plastic hook on my right panel was already broken on the first day I got the damn thing. Probably going to super glue it back on if Antec won't replace it, left panel is difficult to reattach but lacks the .5-1.5mm bulge of the right panel. Thanks for the suggestion of the adhesive remover...

Well, biggest reason for me would probably be me wanting a computer that's quiet enough to leave on over and still be able to sleep in the same room with (lawl, my bedrooms almost as big as the living room, office and bedroom in the same place is rather convenient). I do a lot of downloading (porno,...

But SATA is the better solution; you don't have to buy new drives for that either, since SATA-to-IDE adapters are not very expensive. Omg, y didn't I put that into consideration when rebuilding my com? Thx Lawl! And regarding floppy drives, I had to use them in my adult education center (it's not l...

Well, this is what I've done so far. I've removed the Dual Slot Exhaust, gonna use it on my new gaming computer, leave my current computer as a backup incase WoW messes up on the main one. I've turned off the top tricool fan that came with the P180 and once my nexus fans arrive i'll replace the rear...

thats almost nothing bad, unnoticeable to someone not looking for it. that made me feel so much better! lawl. well I'm thinking dropping by school and asking one of the chemistry professors if they know any chemicals that can desolve adhesives without damaging my steel case. Hopefully it'll turn ou...

I think you can get buy with a much cheaper video card heatsink. Those are for drastically hotter parts. Consider a Zalman cooler, like a VF700AlCu, or even the passive ones. Lawl, it says in my post. I'm using the Zalman VF700-Cu, it's better than the VF700AlCu, and I've personally tested it. At 5...

Well yeh, I must have done the stupidest thing today. Attached insulation foam to my P180 case. Sighz. So far it's fine, there's just a slight .5-1.5mm bulge at approximately 4 inches up on the right side panel of my PC case. Not sure what type of damage this might do to the case, sighz. The left si...

So far I can't hear my PSU so I doubt it'll be needing to replace it. I was already considering getting removing the dual slot exhaust fan but the problem was before when I had tried to isolate the noise, I removed it but noise level didn't improve so didn't put much consideration into it. Perhaps i...

My PC's Killing ME!!!
Hi there, recently I've decided I was tired of living with my jet engine of a computer (I have migraines & it turns out the jet engine part was my ATI X700 stock vga cooler), but I purchasing quite a large quantity of products simply to shut my PC up. Well I, kinda obvious it was somewhat of a failu...
