You run these 4 hard drives without an intake fan? How does it go for you?

Looks very nice, but I would suggest suspending the hard drive with stretch magic in the cd cage.

I run the 4850e passively with the HR-01+ and my temp are far from being warm. I only have one exhaust fan (120mm nexus) in the case.

Make sure you enable C&Q in the bios - my CPU runs most of the time at 1Ghz.

Why buying the 780G when you can save money and power with the 740G? Unless the computer needs to play HD video.

I installed the same heatsink on a Gigabyte 740G and it fits nicely. The AM2 assembly parts differ from those of the 775 socket, make sure you use the right ones.

Godspeed.

I need a replacement for my existing computer since it's very old (6 years already) and only partially works. I think I can managed with a lower spec computer, but this one also fits my budget. Are you sure only one fan (in addtion to the PSU fan) will do? I'm afraid the system will get too hot. Wha...

New Computer - Would Like to Hear Your Review

Hello everyone, I was thinking about buying a computer during the last winter, but I had to postpone it. I'm intending to buy a new computer in about a week or so. It will be running Arch Linux and won't perform any heavy tasks such as gaming or photo editing. Here's the spec: ----------------------...

Licaon, I see you are using Linux with this board, which driver do you use for the IGP? Do you recommend this board for a Linux based system?

Sorry for the hijacking Thomas!

My First Silent Build - Advice Required

I'll start with goals and uses of the future build and conclude with the specs that I've come up with, but they are subject to changes depending on your recommendations. Goals: *Silent\Quiet...

Asus P5E-VM HDMI is already released, check the Asus website (which is down at the moment, so I can't give you a direct link). Should be available through retailers shortly. Don't however confuse it with P5E-VM DO which is already selling - it has the Q35 chipset. No eSATA on the Asus board, too ba...
