They were 'loud' on low, but they did have a gentle whooshing sound to them making them overall not so bad.

In any case: what exactly is 'eavesdropping without warrents'? Can they just phonetap you for eternity without just cause, because they feel like it now and get away with it?
Kinda creepy if you ask me, not having a check on these things.

Seems to be the exact same design yeah. But didn't Corsair get it's PSU's from Seasonic, or the other way around?

It's a shame we've gotten to this point. But here we are, with few viable options. I blame the court system and it's lax treatment of criminals....that can be changed. Other people blame the guns....that cannot be changed. I usually blame the criminals themselfs, the faults that were made to preven...

And this is my beef with US gun laws. Everyone seems to be able to get one, at least for in their home which leads to them being taken outside as well.

I was planning on a bunch of 120mm fans. Perhaps this is a dumb question - is a fan controller a piece of software or is it found in the BIOS? Or is it part of the fan? :? A fan controller can be both hardware aswell as software. There are integrated BIOS fancontrols (look up: Asus Q-fan) as well p...

To me an SPCR wiki page needs to be accepted by SPCR "staff" otherwise it feels wrong to go further. Most definitely, i think we can all agree on this. If there will be an SPCR wiki I think it should be a complement to the SPCR site with as many links to SPCR as possible. Sometimes it might be hard...

In order to get a "carry" permit in this state, you must take training classes, and demonstrate your ability to use a gun. Is there also some sort of psych test? Besides the usual background test, to prevent possible Rambo like scenario's. For me personally: I don't feel safer when i know that peop...

The only reason i'm a supporter of capitol punishment is because i don't want some murdering child rapist living out his life from my tax money. It's not a deterrent at all, but it can be an effective money saver, if people wouldn't also spend many years in death row first. As for armed people inter...

Well, I gotta add one response here because this is truly what I'd wanted to address. The error with this thinking is that religion, as well as nationalism, do ...

Nexus fans at 5v would pretty much cut back your sound output with 60-80% (depending on harddrive noise and PSU). The standard Tricool fans in the p18x aren't silent by a long shot.

If you have modding hands you could make a duct of some sort and thus exhausting the air from the card. I made one for my 8800GT untill i had my Accelero S1 and it worked great. You could also open up the PCI slots and suspend a fan blowing outwards, that should work just as good, or put a fan at th...
