It's a shame we've gotten to this point. But here we are, with few viable options. I blame the court system and it's lax treatment of criminals....that can be changed. Other people blame the guns....that cannot be changed. I usually blame the criminals themselfs, the faults that were made to preven...

I was planning on a bunch of 120mm fans. Perhaps this is a dumb question - is a fan controller a piece of software or is it found in the BIOS? Or is it part of the fan? :? A fan controller can be both hardware aswell as software. There are integrated BIOS fancontrols (look up: Asus Q-fan) as well p...

To me an SPCR wiki page needs to be accepted by SPCR "staff" otherwise it feels wrong to go further. Most definitely, i think we can all agree on this. If there will be an SPCR wiki I think it should be a complement to the SPCR site with as many links to SPCR as possible. Sometimes it might be hard...

In order to get a "carry" permit in this state, you must take training classes, and demonstrate your ability to use a gun. Is there also some sort of psych test? Besides the usual background test, to prevent possible Rambo like scenario's. For me personally: I don't feel safer when i know that peop...

The only reason i'm a supporter of capitol punishment is because i don't want some murdering child rapist living out his life from my tax money. It's not a deterrent at all, but it can be an effective money saver, if people wouldn't also spend many years in death row first. As for armed people inter...

Next a direction needs to be set. Will anyone be able to contribute, only SPCR members, members that are approved? How will articles be structured? Then whoever who wants to/can contribute does. I would think to have anyone who is registered being able to contribute, this way (deliberate) mistaken ...

Well, I gotta add one response here because this is truly what I'd wanted to address. The current popular way of thinking is just this, that if we do away with nationalism and religion that we'll all magically come together. The error with this thinking is that religion, as well as nationalism, do ...

The download box is basically a seperate harddrive on the fileserver for downloading purposes to which any and all download programs dump their data. I use RealVNC for remote managing. If you use a windows server and a windows client however, i would suggest using the built in Remote Desktop Connect...

The setup is now running so cool and quiet I hesitate to put up numbers. Nobody would believe me. Massively cooling a Northwood will do that :D I was actually quite shocked when i put my Andy +fan on my Northwood and my other fans on max. Thing just wouldn't heat up at all. With your ducting ...

AC Ryan Alubox + Samsung Spinpoint
The enclosure: http://www.acryan.com/alubox/ACR-HD50138.shtml Any way to silence this? I'm talking about idle noise. I may have a mm of space to stuff something in beween the HDD and the enclosure, but i'm worried it might get a bit hot if i do. Anyone have experiences with it? I already put better ...

If you have modding hands you could make a duct of some sort and thus exhausting the air from the card. I made one for my 8800GT untill i had my Accelero S1 and it worked great. You could also open up the PCI slots and suspend a fan blowing outwards, that should work just as good, or put a fan at th...
