Something odd hit me while reading the comparisons. First I thought you didn't feel like comparing it to Noctua NH-C12P 'cause it was in another class but then I read further and.. 'However, it turns out a direct comparison was unnecessary — the Zipang is the most efficient top-down cooler we've e...

I thought I'd enlighten you guys about the distribution of the 12V rails, or rather let jonnyguru take over from here. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=127 Now that's actually a link to the whole review but there is a picture of the PSU with it's fan upwards and jonn...

It has a really nice noisecurve as well, it's to bad that so many highwatt powersupplies are silent and highefficient when very few lowwatt--models are. I wish they'd make a sub 400W powersupply with 90% efficiency. You can't really complain about high wattage when the efficiency is 85% at 80W load...

I would love to go Intel but the limited A/V receiver support has me going the AMD route. Sorry? Are you referring to the repeater bug? That's been fixed. Also, it was never an issue for those using AnyDVD-HD. ET I'm not planning on ripping BD movies on a 32GB SSD and the last I read on this Anandt...

Ci7 is not affordable. The slowest model will cost 266 USD IIRC. S1366 motherboards are expensive, and DDR3 RAM is expensive... I'm not sure DDR3 is expensive anymore. I'm slowly putting together a system from on-sale parts and was aiming at DDR2 because of the expense of DDR3. But, I just noticed ...

The price of Core SSDs is going dooown: http://www.dailytech.com/OCZ+Once+Again+Slashes+the+Price+of+Core+Series+SSDs/article12993.htm "Newegg is now listing the 64GB Core Series SSD at $99 after a $70 mail-in rebate." Things are looking very good if this is a trend. Of course it's the trend but it...

"does AMD even have any 140W processors in production?" The new Phenom X4 9950BE has a TDP of 140W. Not that it draws that much but I guess the board at least claims to support it. But some may know that other IGP boards by many manufacturers for AMD CPUs have claimed support for processors that wou...

3850's reference single slot cooler had the similar situation, 65'c, at idle. It looks like ATi implement the same temperature-controlling mechanism on 4850 as well. Anyway, I wonder whether 4850 enjoy the same quiet cooler design as 3850 that has been verified by silent authority, SPCR. Don't know...

Those are some serious differences between core temps. The TRUE is known for shipping with a nonflat base more often than not and judging by those temps, it seems to be the case. Check the base with a razor blade and lap the base flat. Those temps are nothing to worry about but there shouldn't be a ...

Are you sure you don't want an intake fan? Your HDDs might heat up a bit. I have the CM690. It's a nice looking case with good features and great price. Obviously it isn't targeted at the silent market. I have two fans in it. Rear exhaust and front intake. The intake fan blowing through the HDD cage...
