OK, i recently bought the Ninja Rev. B to replace my Zalman CNPS9700 thanx to this forum. I'm really happy with it the result. Oh yeah, my PSU actually comes with one 120 mm fan - not 2 80mm fans. I'm thinking about replacing it with a Noctua. How does this sound?

Hello, Many PSU's use 120mm, and some use 140mm, and others use one or two 80mm, or one 80mm and one 92mm. For 80mm, I would suggest replacing it (them?) with the Enermax Marathon 1500RPM model. I currently have a Thermaltake Purepower 500W PSU. I'm thinking about replacing the stock psu fans w/ some better quality fans (scythe S-flex) to reduce noise from the PSU. Should i do it? Well, I'm thinking about the Scythe Ninja or the Thermalright 120 extreme to replace the Zalman 9700. Im thinking going with the fanless option also. Would either Scythe Ninja or the Thermalright w/ fanless option handle it with the hardwares i have?
