You dont need the hdmi add-on card to watch HD via DVI i think. Havent tested it without the hdmi card so cant say for sure. Got the bluray working again but only via analog connection. I deleted the DRM folder in c:\program data\microsoft\windows and after that got my digital tv working again and all the problems with powerdvd 8 were gone too. Guess u have to be carefull with microsoft drm and vista. I will try to update...

Well i reversed the 8.7 driver back to 8.3 driver and now the catalyst software reports the chipset as X1250 as it should be. Haven't tested it via the hdmi connection but i connected my tv over VGA and the bluray film started to play! And in HD! (downsacled form 1080p to 1366x768). So i guess there...

Well i'm hooked up to my sony 32s2520 lcd tv via hdmi. Runs fine with all media except bluray.
