Thank you for the comments. The 4670(or 4770 in April) sounds like the best choice. I understand that newer chipsets support PCIe 2.0, but is there a significant difference between the G31 and P35 chipset(apart from the integrated graphics you mentioned). Appreciate the info regarding VX450W. Sounds...

Seeking advice on light gaming CPU, MB, PSU parts build.
Hi, am having troubles figuring out which CPU, MB and PSU to put in a machine which will be used for older games like BF1942, possibly for newer ones with less intensive requirements. Will be using 1280 x 1024 or 1680 x 1050 resolution. HDMI, eSata, Firewire is not needed. Will not be using Raid and...

Ack, sorry to hear that. It seems the review has been removed from their site for some reason. This is the link to the company website. http://nanoxia-europe.com Found some other reviews of the fans. Sorry for long links: http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/nanoxia_case_fans_review/ http://hardwarebist...

The 12cm front fan is great, only it should have been placed a bit higher to aid both gpu and cpu areas. Air front intake look a little smaller than the P150. It is nice with no PSU beam across the case. Hard disk mount blocking all intake airflow. unless "Detachable anti-vibration HDD pads for nois...

A case might not need to top the SOLO, but rather present a different alternative to choose from. A case I would like reviewed is:

Asked them to contact spcr since they promote the case as silent, but no reply yet.

Ah I see now. According to corsairs site, the 520 and 620 are almost identical and the reviews are similar for when I read about psu's. They should both be inaudible. Forgot to mention the 620 had same price tag as the 520 at the time. If Enermax would not have been 20% more expensive here, I would ...

Have been using the Corsair 620HX for 6 months and it is completely silent(can hear wind moving if putting ear right next to the psu fan). Have almost same specs as you and mine is very much overkill in terms of wattage. I do not have any experience with Enermax to answer your topic, but the hx is g...

Looking for a silent case.
Hi, I am looking for a silent case with most of the characteristics of the P182, but with the top sealed off(preferably with sound proofing like on the sides). Basically a case closed off on the sides and top and air intake like 182 with door closed with a 12 or 14cm exhaust fan and PSU placed at th...
