Can they be used as internal hard disks without problem?

They have TLER, right? So, for RAID 1, are they a better choice than two WD Caviar Green, for RAID 1?

According to this, It is not compatible with 1155/1156 sockets. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&manufacturers_id=28&products_id=26116 To do compatible, you need this one which you mentioned: Thermalright Socket 1156 Bolt-Thru-Kit Rev.B However, I don't find it...

Re: Prolimatech Genesis or Thermalright Archon SB-E

Thank you again. You should note that is the Thermalright Ultra120 eXtreme Rev.C which has the better mounting bracket and it is NOT compatible with LGA 1155. The price for me who lives in Brazil is always so much, therefore the difference of price among these high-end coolers is minimal. This makes...

Prolimatech Genesis or Thermalright Archon SB-E

Which is more efficient under 600 RPM?

1-) Prolimatech Genesis with two Scythe Slip Stream 120 PWM;
2-) Thermalright Archon SB-E (stock).

which is the best "PWM" fan for a heatsink like Venomous X or Megahalems (both relatively have a considerable gap between fins)? Re: Fan Roundup #6: Scythe, Noiseblocker, Antec, Nexus, Ther

Only two fans in that roundup are "PWM". Starting from this, assuming that M12-PS has the same acoustics characteristics as M12-P in each speed level, and knowing that SPCR already had tested the Slip Stream 120 PWM, which is the best "PWM" fan for a heatsink like Venomous X or Megahalems (both rela...

Thank you for replies.

Is Mugen 3 compatible with this motherboard?

Note that it has a large retention module. I remember that its predecessor, Mugen 2, isn’t compatible with P8P67-V DELUXE (it is with PRO).

Can this motherboard control 3-pin fans by voltage, or only 4-pin fans by PWM?

If it can, what fan headers can be used to control fans?

Now does Antec P183 V3 come with actual USB 3.0 plug?

Apparently new revisions of P183 V3 have come with two USB 3.0 plugs but just three USB 3.0 ports instead of four. Beyond this, the shipped fans apparently have come with motherboard header compatible plug instead of Molex PSU 4-pin cable compatible plug. Are these statements correct? If so, they’re...

Re: Finally a Super Quiet High-end Video Card?

You're absolutely right. The only advantage that this XFX has is the out-of-box acoustic. See the review below that it can be very quiet at the cost of a higher temperature. That is, another model of HD 7850 can achieve the same noise quality making a tweak on its regime of fan speed. http://techrep...

Finally a Super Quiet High-end Video Card?

On HT4U.NET (German website) we can see a review of a Radeon HD 7950 that seems to be very quiet as under idle as under load. HT4U.NET apparently uses a very trustworthy methodology of acoustics measurements. At the last page of review, we can see that video card model got maximum rating in terms of...

Re: GPU upgrade that's inaudible when idle?

Thanks. So yours isn't a fanless video card. Obviously your video card DOES control a PWM fan. The adapter is only to convert the connector from large to small, since standard video cards use a small header. What I wonder is if e.g. the header on the PowerColor SCS3 HD6850 works, and if its BIOS has...

Re: GPU upgrade that's inaudible when idle?

I already had posted this adaptor. I saw that the cards have a fan header. What I'd like to know is if they have a controller circuit on themselves. And more, if they can be configurable by software speed control. If so, then we can use that Gelid to hook up a fan in the card e turn it an active coo...

Definitely, including panels to block the unused fan mounts would be great. It's too bad that Antec seems to be giving up on the CP power supplies. They seem like a really good idea to me. I'm very sad to see sites like AnandTech, Puget Systems, Benchmark Reviews and others speak so badly of SOLO II.

For me its design is almost perfect and the embedded concept into it is the right way.

In my opinion, TJ08-E and SOLO II have the best project for desktop PC.
