Re: Quiet Mini-ITX Gamer Build Guide
At 31 litres it is massive for MiniITX. This is my biggest crticism of it. If you want a 31 litre case, why limit yourself to MiniITX? MicroATX is typically a cheaper motherboard size and there are MicroATX cases available at that size. My thought exactly, should've used the M1 and embraced the tru...

Re: Zotac IONITX-P-E CULV Motherboard
Nice board, but the price does seem a bit steep compared to an H55 ITX with G9650. If it were 2/3 the price I'd be ordering one from Amazon right now, just to play with. :D . Well, this is a Zotac board so I'm sure they'll be releasing an incremental version before long and the price on these will ...

Re: Gigabyte H55N-USB3: The De Facto LGA1156 Mini-ITX Board?
Maybe it's just me, but so far the only mini-itx board on the market that I have bought and would consider buying is the zotac board with built-in wifi. The main problem with the mini-itx boards is the fact that there is only 1 expansion slot. That expansion slot will always have a video card in it...

This is pretty much the build that I chose for my bedroom HTPC. I'm using an E5300 and a 320GB WD Scorpio Blue HDD. My GPU and CPU temps are pretty low according to Real Temp, but I have an annoying problem with the HDD either parking the heads (loud click) or seeking maybe. Plus, the computer will ...

I have a E6750 in the living room HTPC that I'm transplanting into the Sugo SG05 (from an Apex MI-008). I can 't give you the temperature data (yet), but you shouldn't have too many problems with a E6500. I can tell you that most of the builds I've seen based on the SG05 and the Zotac 9300 (on HardO...

Glad to see such a favorable review. I just got this case and the new MINIX 780G board as the base for my new SageTV server build. The main problem (for me) is the lack of compelling heatsink choices. I did get a NT07-AM2, but I'm not that impressed by the finish. Plus, on the MINIX, I can't use my ...
