Take a look at this; http://www.datorbutiken.com/se/datasheet.php?artId=CI-6A21BL its the same as the Antec 3700 with another PSU 300W. I think it is a HEC PSU. It is supposedly "quiet" but you might want to get another opinion than the reseller. When I was looking for a new case I did some research...

Just make sure to ...

OK, thanks I'll go with bitumen then (easily accessible). I'll just make sure I have enough cooling so that the case don't reach the burning point. ;-)

Performance

Unless IBM/Hitachi have made any serious changes to their drives lately I would avoid their drives simply because of the low MBF. I have had 3 IBM drives; 2 60GXP and a SCSI (forgot the model, made back in -99). The SCSI drive and one IDE drive has died with I/O error. The third drive is beginning t...

Looks real nice though. A cross between Lian Li and Antec Solutions series, in a full tower configuration. Gonna buy one when I win the lottery.

Bitumen

I was recommended bitumen as a mass loading material and thus reduce vibration in the case. Some of the computer specific sold sound absorption/sound reducing material like magic fleece. Proudly states that it does not contain bitumen due to health issues. Anyone know if there any health hazard in l...

Seems like you would need a huge case to fit any dampening material that makes any effect. I found this diagram on % dampening on a Danish site selling absorption foam and sound barrier material: http://www.nordisk-akustik.dk/graf_dk/prod06a-fig1.gif Don't know if it is specific for their material o...

Addtronics 6896A

Addtronics 6896A: In my experiance with this case it is not a good case for a quiet PC. Keep away. Yes, it does have some nice features 120mm front intake fan (which I am not using), easily accessed with hinged doors, good looks if you are into the "computer" style. Downside; It very easily starts v...
