I know some other heatsinks block off the sides, but I can only remember 1 off the top of my head: the Noctua U12P. And I mostly remember that because I have one. Ah I didn't see the "eyelet tabs" (must be a new thing they're doing, since the clips for my U12P SE1366 didn't have those). Makes sense to leave the clips on there, then.
