i have a u2311h and can say its pretty much dead silent so thats an option.... granted it has the cheaper e-ips panel and is 16:9 aspect ratio. but i got mine at $185 so cant complain

i have the gtx460 version of this card (same directcu cooler) and wanted to chime in that i hear the same annoying buzzing. i actually exchanged me card because it was so annoying and got the same issue. this leads me to believe that all asus directcu cards have the same crappy fan design. its weird...
