I use a FLV Downloader that is found at http://www.flv.com/flvdownloader.html. It is free and works great. It is easy to use if you aren't particularly computer savvy. If she is sending files they might need to use a FLV player which can also be found on that site.

I would think it would be better to keep the top bay free since hot air tends to rise. Keeping a machine cool is critical as you know so why not work with the physics of hot air movement.

Bluetooth is just a wireless connection. It doesn't have much range and in my experience much fidelity. I would forgo that idea and run a speaker network from your computer output. It should be simple enough to find wall mounted speakers to put in your kitchen. Now admittedly I am a bit of an audiop...
