Hi Lawrence,
another great review of a very interesting case.
I am considering it myself. I have the RVZ01 case (with a full size ATX PSU) and it still rocks as a gaming case.
Cheers

Re: Arctic Accelero Hybrid II-120 Liquid GPU Cooler
Thank you very much Lawrence Lee for this great review - just what I have been hoping and waiting for here at SPCR. Now both the NZXT G10 and the Arctic Accelero Hybrid II-120 is tested.
I am pleassantly surprised by the performance of Arctic Accelero Hybrid II-120

Re: Quiet Mini-ITX Gamer Build Guide
What about the RVZ01 "mini Raven" case? My thoughts exactly - I mean, I have build a gaming mini ITX system with a full ATX PSU (Corsair HX650 PSU) unit inside this case. The PSU has the zero RPM fan mode, it is Ultra quiet. The CPU is easy to cool, and the GFX is easy to cool quietly as well. RVZ0...

Typo in the conclusion?

Hi, great review subject, the Kraken G10, thank you for reviewing it! Question concerning the conclusion. You write: "One last thought is that because the heatspreader (or heatsink base) makes direct contact with the GPU die rather than a heatspreader as on a CPU, the relatively mediocre performance...

Hi!
I have a Asus Z87I-Pro and would like to use SpeedFan but without luck - BUT version 4.50 fixed earlier bugs so that rpm, temps are show correctly.
Do tell if you find a way to control the fan using another program than fan xpert 2, as it is only controlled by the CPU. I need to control by GPU.

Great review! And very interesting findings concerning the efficiency of X41. I am also very much looking forward to the G10 testing, high end GPU cooling with water cooling should be very efficient. I am also hoping for a review og Arctics newest solution, the The Accelero Hybrid II 120: http://www...

Re: NCASE M1: Crowdfunded Enthusiast Mini-ITX Case
The RVZ01 is actually a little larger at 14l but it would be interesting to see how it performs in comparison. Yes, the Raven Z has a cooling system much more tuned toward cooling the hot graphics card wit 2x120mm fan intake along the card, and a 120mm fan right on top of the cpu (possitive pressur...

When will we see a review of a true micro-ITX and gaming case, the Silverstone Raven Z?

Re: Fractal Design Node 304 Mini-ITX Case
BUT I can tell you what really counts for case like this to stay quiet with a high power gaming rig is... 1. airflow to the VGA card -- mainly how open the left side is. 2. airflow through the rest, particularly for CPU cooling. Generally, the biggest noise differences will be in the VGA cooler & t...

Re: Fractal Design Node 304 Mini-ITX Case
Hi SPCR, great review of the Node 304, which I consider buying for my gaming build. Hence I am a little disappointed that you did not test the case with a dedicated graphics card - I mean it is one of the very few mini ITX cases that can house a standard graphics card, ATX power supply and offer pro...

My thoughts exactly, I mean there are so many other products I would rather see an review of at silentpcreview than SSDs (which must be the least noisy unit in a pc, electrical noise or not)...rpsgc wrote:Am I the only one who finds this a bit... odd? SSD are already inherently silent.

Re: Asus P8Z77-V Pro: Xpert Fan Control for LGA1155
I got the bog standard ASUS P8Z77-V and it supports Fan Xpert. It perhaps just has less fan headers, but you can sortof get around it: It has 2 PWM 4-pin fan headers and 3 voltage controlled 3-pin fan headers. I understand that each fan header is rated for 12V, 1A operation. All my fans on my curre...
