Re: New build in the Mini-ITX chassis > Ncase M1

I have most of my components, including the very small chassis, the Ncase M1. I am not bothered by moderate fan noise. *Asus Z170I Pro Gaming *i7-6700k *Corsair H100i V1 AIO (will replace stock fans) *nVidia 1080-FE *Corsair LPX DDR4 16GB *1 TB SSD, (no internal HDD) I may at some point OC the CPU....

Re: Noctua NF-A15 vs Thermalright TY-147A

There are also two versions of the Thermalright TY-147A, the original one that was oblong (140mm x 152mm) and the newer TY-147ASQ version which is 140mm square These are not two versions of the same fan, but two different fans: BTW, I guess the OP may need some with 120mm holes (in case the SQ line...

Re: Noctua NF-A15 vs Thermalright TY-147A

I think both are great fans, i used to run NF-A15 PWM 1200 on my Thermalright Silver Arrow IBE and i have no regrets, now i run two TY-147A PWM on Prolimatech Genesis, also good fans, i run them mostly at 450rpms and rarely i see them ramp to 600rpm, most of the time they stay below 500rpm. Another...

Thx Steve for answer, no temps dont bother me at all, before was 1-2 degree difference with bottom fan so i can live with that i guess.

120 mm for Fractal Define R4

Hi,
Due to PSU upgrade which is bit longer that old one i had to remove Antec TrueQuiet 140mm fan... and now i'm looking for replacement. Which 120mm fan is quiet as Antec Truequiet 140mm ? I use Lamptron Fan Controller and run all my incase fans at 500-540 RPM.

Re: Quiet 140 mm Red LED Fan

Btw, checking your signature.... im really tempted to go with twin MSI GTX970s, but im stall atm with some things that i have read, maybe you can help with your experience, 1) Any coil whine on yours? is it tolerable or noticeable? 2) Sticker... some say it ruin a fan that the glue kinda mess it, t...

Re: Quiet 140 mm Red LED Fan

I own 3x NF-A15 PWM, and to me they are very good fans, SPCR didnt like them as much as the old iteration NF-P14, which you can read on the SPCR First 140 mm Fan Roundup: Noctua, Phanteks, Xigmatek Now what options do you have.... the NF-A15 is a 140mm fan on a 120mm frame hole fan, there are some ...

Re: Quiet 140 mm Red LED Fan

Welcome to SPCR!!!! Not many choices on 140, and on LED are fewer, and quiet.... If you were to be fine without led or adding your own led strips, i would go with Antec True Quiet 140 or Noctua NF-P14s redux-900 . If LED on the fan is a must... then i would probably try Phanteks Series Premier 140m...

Quiet 140 mm Red LED Fan

Hello, I'm looking for quiet 140 mm red led fan, already have Cougar CF-V14 and its a bit loud for me even at 500 rpm and also wanna replace two fractal 140 mm fans(R4 case) due to annoying bearing noise even i run them at 5v, still hear it...consider Antec TrueQuiet but maybe now its something bett...
