There is no reason why it wouldn't work. Now, make sure you choose that passive CPU cooler correctly, because as far as I know, I haven't seen a passive CPU cooler that will cool your CPU to adequate temperatures. About the Fanless psu, video card, motherboard, is acceptable. I don't personally thin...

What is Thermal Resistance? :(

I'm confused. What is thermal resistance? Does the higher the better or the worst?

Can somebody explain?

dont buy it. I have it in my system and it did nothing, Same noise as before. Its thickness is around 4mm, about 1/4". In my opinion something that is not at least 10mm will not do anything. Go with another option.

By the way, my tower is a CoolerMaster 111.

how can i installed a fan with 3 pin into my psu if it has 2-pin connectors?
I tried and opened my True430 to replace the fans with some noiseblocker fans i got, but ended up putting them in my case instead of psu. is there a 2-pin to 3-pin adapter?

Thoughts on Noiseblocker S1

I just received four S1 and one 92mm S2. Just to let you know this fans are incredible, the retail package came with everything you need. One thing i didnt like was that my CoolerMaster ATC-111 made this fans sound like a vacuum. Outside the case the fans are really quite but inside the vibration is...

Just received my Noiseblocker Swing set! (Good and Bad)

I have just installed a Noiseblocker swing set on my Hard Drive. I'm so pleased, is incredible how quite a HD can get when isolated! http://www.silentpcreview.com/files/images/pics_host/Noise-002.jpg Good: Really good isolation. Bad: Somehow hard to install and the 3mm screws were too small for my W...

My Harddrive is my loudest component!

I cannot believe this. After turning off all my fans one by one to test which one is the loudest I got to the point where I turned all of my fans off and still I receive a huge amount of noise coming from "nowhere". I then unplugged the Hard Drive and voila. This freaking Western Digitial is louder ...

I am currently using this stuff: http://www.colorcase.be/html/spading/moddetail.php?id=1527 It is basically a piece of rubber with metal mounting pieces on two sides. One side you mount on your HDD and another side goes to the case in a 5" space. Very neat, makes my Barracuda very quiet. When touch...
