Ive got a Sonata 1 and i too noticed the dust coming in around the door but found you can seal those finger size gaps around the door with draft seal tape - it comes in a back colour so it blends in well with the case. I also used some black vinyl electrical insulation tape to seal the small gap whe...

quiet keyboards, do you know of any?
as the subject says atm i have a labtec keyboard, which works no problem, but is a little on the noisy side ie the key strokes can anyone suggest a quiet keyboard, not something like you'd see in a court room, just a main-stream manufacturer that makes a low noise type keyboard preferably with multi...

Thanks dddp, I think what you say about an external exsausts vga cooler is true: better temps in case, better temps on CPU and, I suppose, better temps for PSU; I am sure this one means less noise. But I red about artic cooling silencer and it did non fit on 9800xt! check this out, i think there's ...

it's really big, and the 12cm fan mounting option is awesome, but 12ch fans work best on caseflow rather than component cooling. They just don't move the air needed, and if they do, it's over a wider range (i.e. not specific enough). I don't know though, it might have uses, but i think when reviews...

With my P4-3200 and Zalman 7000AlCu@1800 rpm I have 52C idle and 69C on load (MOBO report) That sounds high to me. I've a plain IC7 with the latest BIOS running a 2.4C at 3.0 and 1.575V. Speedfan keeps the 7000AlCu at 1400 RPM under load and reports 60C CPU and 30C mobo in a 20C room. Do you have a...

hi i'd just like to ask a question, in the review it states the xp-120 heatsink won't fit an abit IC7-G max2 mb because of nb hsf on one side and capacitors on the other ..... isn't the IC7-G max2 the same as the IC7-G? looking at this picture which shows the xp-120 heatsink mounted on a IC7, latest...

BTW their was no way the zalman was going to fit on the MB with the zalman northbridge cooler. I would have had to cut like 80% of the fins off it to shorten the height of it.... saw your post about this on the abit forums, so you actually got the 7000 al-cu and the gold zalman nb heatsink and coul...

Although sidewindercomputers.com is cheaper than svc.com, they will force you to buy a 120mm fan with XP-120. :? according to thermalright's web site, " Stock Fan Maker: Panaflo (Panasonic) Model: FBA12G12L1A Size: 120 x 120x 38 (mm) Bearing: Hydro Wave Voltage: 12V Speed: 1700 rpm Air Flow: 68.9 C...

negative pressure = dust getting sucked in positive pressure = dust getting blown in the solution is having less dust in the environment and as i do with my sonata case which can be done with all other cases too, the holes at the top of the side covers (if you don't have them, drill some) only need ...

yep, i've done this, but with an 80mm fan controlled by a fanmate on minimum speed with the 92mm fan you'll find theres a large dead spot with no airflow, make sure you don't position the fan centrally above the stock heat sink cause the core won't get much airflow if you do i mounted my 80mm fan at...

You should look into some small modification of the air intake on the Sonata yes, and do this before you do anything else, take the front cover off and cut away a lot of restricting plastic, also place spacers under the case to let more air into the air filter inlet, a cheap and easy thing to do, m...
