Atom + mini-itx + 3.5 inch HD + 5.25 dvd + 600 W psu = 40 watt with prime full load http://www.vr-zone.com/articles/Intel_Atom_Power_Consumption_Preliminary_Tests/5721.html They assume a efficiency of 80%, but looking at the 650W 80+ corsair review, the efficiency is more like 65%. This would result...

I'm sorry to dissappoint you, but the suspension was according to Ralf so butt ugly and not effective. I had no choice but to tear the suspension apart and to build another one. Pics will again tell the story :P http://www.xs4all.nl/~tormund/project/sonataophanging.jpg http://www.xs4all.nl/~tormund/...

I have Antec Sonata + Asus A7n8x deluxe + cns7000a-alcu and it fits. The clearance left between the Power supply and alcu is about 5mm.

But the zalman is only quiet on 5V then the noisiest thing is the power supply.

Seems to me that everyone here is praising this fan. Looks like the only bad point for this fan is the higher price and slightly lower CFM compared to other fans. If you live in the Netherlands, there is no bad point at all. The Nexus fan is avaible for only 9 euro and the papst is 15-18 euro. So y...

After I've read this thread, I've got myself only one Nexus real silent fan to test. The first silent fan I have bought is a Noiseblocker S1 which is suppose to be 11dba and it simply isn't, it has an annoying mid frequency buzzling sound and in my custom made wooden box it resonated...
