In terms of damping the case, IMO this would be a rather expensive route to take in light of cheaper alternatives.
I agree. If you could this stuff dirt cheap, I wouldnt mind getting a new mattress. The material is great and soft and may not work well when exposed to high heaet temps.

Now I'm just having trouble deciding what to put into all those 5.25" bays!

I wonder if adding an 80mm fan on the bottom intake on the LL-6077 where the holes are will have a positive effect as it sucks in more cool air rather than just a passive intake?

Any thoughts on whether this will disrupt the airflow?

Fan adapter on blowhole?

I have a 80mm blowhole.
Without cutting the case, is it a good idea to get an 80mm-120mm fan adapter to add a 120mm fan for use on the blowhole?

Will this be effective in pushing out more air? Is there going to be a large increase in noise even if I use a fan controller?

Thank you

Hi Don, Maybe I am juts being paranoid. I havent really tested the temps yet and was just wondering what kind of things I could do with those original 3 40mm holes. Maybe I will just cover them up. Btw, I also have a pci slot fan below the video card so I think I am pretty well covered. I guess I am...

Thanks for your reply and help. I did consider that using 3 40mm fans at back would just direct the airflow straight out, thus not really cooling the M/B and cpu area. However, my PSU has an 80mm intake and 80mm outake. The intake is directly on top of the CPU/heatsink so it sucks the air right out ...

Question for Lian Li & some "other" case owner

On the back of my Lian Li PC-30, there are 3 40mm size areas that run vertical beside the agp/pci slots. It looks like it could mount 3 40mm fans vertically. What are LL owners doing with that space? Adding 3 40mm fans? Modifying the area for other fans? Nothing....just letting the front intake fans...
