Fan mounting using cable ties?

In the next week or so im going to be building my new quietPC. Im using an Antec 3700AMB case, which i have already cut out the fan grills and removed the Antec fan mounting brackets. As the antec case has a stupid mounting system which requires new mounting holes to be drilled if you dont use it, i...

Oh, yes I know about the SLK3700-BQE. I'm a little worried about that side panel problem that you mention though, and I wish they would sell the case without a power supply (I would replace the one that is included). just sell the psu on ebay, antec psu's sell nicely, i got rid of the one that came...

At least over here it is a common component in auto part stores. The one I got has an aluminum layer on the non-sticky side. I think it was sold in thickness from 10mm to 40mm. The 10mm version is enought for computers. You are more concerned with covering as much area as possible. is their a brand...

Sorbothane in the UK?

Yes i know you lucky buggers in the UK have mcmasters to sell you everything a UK resident could desire, but due to their rather obtuse shipping methods i was hoping someone would know where i could get some Sorbothane sheet here in the UK for less than a working kidney :D

Is the fan in that PSU an 80mm fan? How do you like it -- noisewise? It is a single 120mm fan. I originally brought the SS300FT to replace a old Qtechology QT-02300 . But I found the SS300FT nosier than the QT-02300 when loaded - this is a P4 2.4G running folding@home. The QT-02400G is quieter than...

Good quality relatively cheap 3pin 120mm fan in UK?

Well i normally use evercool 120mm fans as they are cheap @ £5.50 each and are silent @ 7 volts. The thing is, for reasons too embarassing to go into  , i need a 120mm with 3 pins so i get a speed sensor cable on it, as the evercools only come with the 4pin connections. And if my memory serves...
