Thank you! I'll order one from SVC later tonight. I would have bought one of the Revision 1 coolers for $13.99 but those don't support the Radeon 9600 Pro. :( Wait! Neither does Rev 2, and you're obviously aware of that since you said Rev 3 in your poll. Rev 2 adds support for the AIW cards I belie...

I prefer the VGA Silencer as I feel a little extra noise and exhausting the hot air from graphics card out of the case is preferable to having a silent heatpipe then having the hot air sit around in the case. You might have to wait a while too. Rev 2 coolers seem to be only just coming out. BTW SVC...

POLL! Going to tackle noisy Radeon 9600 Pro...

Well, SpeedFan has tackled my 92mm Panaflo M1A and my Cooler Master 80mm Blue LED Fan and my Fortron 350w Aurora is already non-audible so that leaves my noisy Radeon 9600 Pro to be quieted down. What option do you think is best? It is overclocked to 465/310 right now. Cheaper is better. ;) I am fav...

I'm looking for a solid fan controller to quiet down a Cooler Master Rifle Bearing Blue LED 80mm fan and a Panaflo M1a 92mm (not as much on this fan though). Any good suggestions? Long cables (so I can keep them tucked out of sight) would be appreciated.

Thank you!

This doesn't work anymore for the Abit NF7-S with BIOS 22. :( Fan control and monitoring works but not anything else. I does work with BIOS 21 though.

Actually, does anyone know if the non-LED model is quieter then the LED model? My friend has the non-LED model and it is very quiet but the 12v rail drops to 11.85v idling and I think this might be bad. :(

I looked at the other recommended power supplies but none of them have a large fan for taking air away from the CPU. However I already have two 80mm fans doing that.

In this case would it be better to buy the Fortron and maybe install a 120mm L1a in it or get a Seasonic PSU instead?

That's a bummer. So, is there a model that does (and still somewhat cheap) or should I buy a Rheobus along with it?

1. Processor is good. 2. For overclocking Mushkin Level II PC3500 or Kingston HyperX PC3500 are highly rated and used. 3. The Asus K8V has more features and more features (like Quiet 'n Cool underclocking/throttling) work on it. CAS Latency doesn't matter, there's a 3Fps difference between 3-4-4-8 a...

How quiet would the Fortron FSP350W-60PN be for my system?

I'm looking for a new power supply and I'm thinking about the Fortron FSP350W-60NP. It would be powering... I am also looking to mod my True330. So I take it that the best method is a 92mm L1A input and an 80mm M1A output?

Sorry for my silent PC newbiness!

No need - I've got an LED fan undervolted to about 5v or so, and it's fine - the LEDs still glow, just not as brightly. No idea why, but it works fine. This depends on the design of the fan; some stop illuminating near 10 V... Cheers, Jan This is a CoolerMaster 80mm fan with 4 Blue LEDs if that hel...

Re: Here's a slightly different PS

Hello: Over at Dan's Data is a review of a fairly unusual PS with two 80mm fans with straight through air flow -- and lots of gawdy green parts and a clear window and blue lights: http://www.dansdata.com/quickshot016.htm http://www.dansdata.com/images/gtr450wli/450wli640.jpg So it has lots of show ...

This looks to be a reallly promising program. Too bad I have an Asus A7N8X-X. :( What would be really cool is if SpeedFan was integrated into this. Then I could have it set my 3200's FSB to 100Mhz, lower the VCore and turn off the processor fan. :) Now that would be seriously impressive. I don't kno...

Forgive my n00b questions, but what does this do - underclock your PC wile its idling? Perhaps a better method would be to get rid of the fan and just get some LED clusters? Fans look cool though but I don't know how to power the LEDs seperately so I can slow the fan speed. :(
