ANTEC.....vs.......ZALMAN.......vs........SCYTHE............

I have an Antec 3700 BQE case with an ASUS P4P800 mobo and Northwood 3.0 GHz chip and.......a Zalman 7700 cooler. It would be nice to make things quieter....and cooler, so I am interested in installing a Zalman 9500 or Scythe Ninja but am concerned about room. A search does not show anyone using eit...

The Zalman 7000Al-Cu workd great on my ASUS P4P800-Deluxe
motherboard, but I can't speak to the PSU issue.

CASE DAMPENING..........

boardsportsrule, The other day I was at Sears and got some tool box drawer liner called "Top Mat" which I put in my case which helped a little. TOP MAT

woof, I was in Sears the other day and bought some material called "Top Mat Plus" which is sold to line tool box drawers. I attached it to the panels with double sided tape and it has made the box a great deal quieter. It cost $8 and took two rolls. It looks like a yoga sticky mat (no cracks please)...

ANTEC CASE

In light of the fact that my Antec 3700-BQE cost me $90.00 with a power supply, I think you got a very good deal. Since it seems like such a good deal is it possible it was a blemished case to begin with? It would suprise me if they didn't say there was a problem but I suppose it is possible. Depend...
