I have that bracket for my XP-120 and the mounting scheme looks fairly different from s478. Also note that I picked mine up for $4 canuck so it might be worth a shot for under $5.

Update: So, I bought an e4300 and an XP-120. The XP-120 just barely fits in the antec aria, but it does FIT! This was using an asrock 775i65g. The XP-120 doesn't have a fan directly mounted on it. There are only 2 fans in the machine, a Nexus 120 in the rear and the zalman VF700 fan on my 6600GT. Th...

Has anyone tried this board with an XP-120? For the latest bios you should check out the overclock workbench forums.

Have you seen my Aria project ? It uses an external power supply, and an XP-120 on a P4-2.8. The photos show a number of changes as I progressed, but at the end I achieved a very quiet computer. I vert interesting project that I almost forgot! The reason I have an external PSU is because of the hel...

I hear it should hit 2.7ghz at stock voltage without a hitch. Most of them start needing more voltage over 3Ghz.

Antec Aria with external PSU, cooling options?

A while ago, I modded my Antec Aria to use an external PSU. At the end of the month I plan to upgrade my 64 bit sempron to a core2duo and overclock to ~2.7Ghz. I recently discovered that my current Zalman 7000Alcu doesn't have the LGA 775 connectors, so I figured this would be a good chance to upgra...

Thats a heavy duty brick! Sounds like I could easily throw in my 9800 and still keep it happy. Looking at the radioshack website however it seems they no longer sell this there :(

Yes I believe using a cheap AC/DC converter of 110 watts will limit me to 110 watts, however a 9600 and lower power sempron can't possibly pull more than much wattage. I think ;)

Antec Aria + Power Brick

My Aria's PSU has recently died, and after finding out that a new PSU would cost around 80 USD shipped to Canada my brain started cranking out different ways around buying a new PSU. for the price of 80 USD's I think I could buy an DC/DC converter and a AC/DC brick. The question is would my budget a...

OUCH at 70 USD I might be better off buying a used one  On a side note, opening up the PSU shows that all the caps and mosfets are in working order. The only weird thing I noticed was a brown crystal like substance on a few of the solder points on the underside of the PSU.

Antec Aria replacement PSU

Well the PSU in my Aria decided to die on me, but the worst part is that I did the Nexus fan swap some months ago and I voided my warranty. Any ideas on where I can get a new PSU for this thing? Antec doesn't seem to sell them individually, and right now my only solution is to try to find a used ari...

You dont happen to have the old Aria PSU do you? I need a replacement and I've already voided my warranty by doing the Nexus fan swap. I'd love to buy it off you.

My only other option is somehow making my own PSU similar to yours :(

NSK 1300 Very disappointing

Looks like Antec took the Aria, stripped some of the more expensive attributes, ie: firewire in the front, then sent it out. The pictures of it seem to show an exact duplicate of the aria, poor cooling and all. I was hoping Antec would introduce a better cooled Aria :(

Quieting an Panaflo H1A 120mm?

Hi, I'm new to the whole PC silencing scene, and I have two H1A fans from my crazy overclocking days not so long ago. I've tried running 5v through them, so they could still serve a practical purpose for me, as they were expensive toys 8). At 5v they still make noticable motor noise. It's a lower pi...
