Okay, well, I picked up a 3pin convertor, and have plugged it into my mobo, and the fan's running at full clip, but whilst speedfan picks up my CPU fan, it does not pick up my case fan, even though it's plugged into one of the 3pin ports on the mobo... am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks!

Is it then possible just to remove two pins from the molex connector, or is a switch a better way to do things?

Also, is there a fan controller that would work, as I'm a little bit dubious about messing around with the wires on this thing!

Thanks guys,

Paul

Tagan makes my fan loud! Help needed!

Hi everyone As you can probably see from my previous posts on this forum, I've just popped a Tagan 480W PSU into my Antec Sonata case. Now my previous power supply (the one that came with the case) connected to the case fans with a two-pin molex connecter labelled "fan only". However, the Tagan does...

Thanks Tibors for clearing that up :) I would ship a seasonic over, but I'm a bit worried about warranty problems. It does work out a bit more expensive, but I'm happy to pay a bit more if it's much better, but if I will have to ship the item back to the US in case of problems, I'm not too keen. The...

Even more confusion as to what to buy!

Hi guys, Well, I'm still tossing up as to what PSU to buy. At the moment I can't chose between A: Enermax Noisetaker 470W ($148AU) B: Zalman Noiseless 400W ($137AU + Shipping) C: (this is the new thing) TAGAN 480W ATX Power Supply ($135AU) Now I've read the "Don't buy Tagan" thread, which is putting...

What is the best way to do that? (other than sticking a pencil in the fan :P )

I've got a sonata for my other system, but was underimpressed with the noise level, although I'm starting to think that it is my CPU fan, not my PSU fan that's making all the noise... plus here the sonata is about $30AUD more than either PSU

I don't believe nexus are...

The thing that is confusing me is that the Zalman gets amazing reviews on all sites I've seen it examined in, except here where it loses out to the enermax...

Zalman Noiseless or Enermax Noisetaker?

Hi guys Firstly, I wasn't sure if this should go here, or in the system advice section, so I flipped a coin and landed up here :) Well, I'm looking to get a quiet PSU, and have narrowed it down to either the Zalman Noiseless 400W or the Enermax Noisetaker 420W. I would love to get a seasonic, but th...
