Question: temps on a 3200+ athlon xp

Got an Abit NF7s-2.0 with a Thermaltake si-97 for heatsink and silenX 92 mm fan attached

temp is 54C - is this too high? (system temp is 28c)

Not having temp issues - CPU is 47c after a night of folding :)

SilenX fan 92mm is pretty damn quite. My Antec truepower 430 seems to be my "noise" component right now so not sure swapping out standard sonata 120mm fan would make a difference.

I will look into the bezel mod - thanks for the tip!

visco elastic memory foam could be used for vibration dampening - not sure of the thermal properties though.

found a website - foamex.com which has some interesting applications for some of their products - HDD vibration dampening and some materials for acoustic absorbtion
