Re: Fortron Source Aurum GOLD series 400-700w review
From the dirkvader.de review of the 400W, the idle fan noise seems to be a little on the high side. Kinda disappointing for a Gold unit. What'd you reckon?

Re: Intel Core i3-2100 vs. AMD Phenom II X2 565
It would be great to pair the i3-2100 with a H61 board such as MSI H61MU-E35 (B3) or Biostar TH61U3+.

Re: Intel X25-V G2 40GB SSD
Hi,
Have a query regarding this SSD in Windows XP.
Saw from Intel_SSD_Toolbox_User_Guide_2.0.pdf that "Intel suggests running the tool weekly to help optimize performance."
May I know, for the 40GB SSD, about how long does it take for each run of the Intel SSD Optimizer?

Thanks guys! I've used Hitachi Tool (DOS) to disable it. But, it didn't make much difference, access time dropped from 16.3 to 15.4, I'm still far away from what reviewed model shows :( - Nick Some have reported that for their drives, in order to achieve 12.Xms access time, AAM has to be enabled bu...

One Seagate hard drive that I'd really like SPCR to review is the 7200.10 250GB ST3250410AS . According to the manual , it is one of those drives that have been set to "Quiet seek". What does that mean in terms of real world acoustics? What does that mean in terms of real world power consumption? I ...
