When I looked at the MP3, It gave me the impression that the scooter was turning into a small car. Two wheels up front, plastic shielding all around to partially deflect the rain, no sign of the engine.
Add a top and another rear wheel.......a small car.

The thing is just smaller on the inside, nothing else. But why bother installing the guts in a larger ATX case? Works fine as is. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/Bluefront/Maximum%20DuctingII/Sparkle2.jpg That one is running fan-less, in a positive pressure case. All the exhaust goes out, arou...

There's one thing you're missing......external noises are not nearly as dangerous to your hearing, as the same noise from an ear-bud, or a head-phone. An ear doctor will have to explain that one....but it's true. And I think the popularity if the IPod among kids today, is far greater than the older ...

When you go deaf . And it may be happening to you this very second. The main problem..... it's a habit that some find pleasurable, like smoking. The results are similar...... you gradually start to loose it, your hearing or your life. A whole generation of deaf iPod users. Maybe you could sue Apple...

I've been lucky enough to own, and to have driven some very unusual/small cars. Among the ones I've driven...... The King Midget http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/1946-1970-king-midget-1.jpg This car was around for over 20 years, and was sold in many forms. I drove a two-seater, much different loo...

Neil.... as with everything, there are two (or more) sides. How do you think Israel feels about our having taken out possibly their worst enemy, or Kuwait , or others affected by the Iraq dictator? Come back in twenty years or so, and re-examine the whole thing......you might feel differently. When ...

Trolling in a thread about scooters? Neil..... there have been many really small cars in the past. Ever see a King Midget? The problem has always been that the price of gasoline was relatively cheap, bigger cars are more practical, and gas mileage was low on the list of things to consider. Add...

It's real easy to look back on a course of action, and criticize what was done, leading to the current state of affairs. The harder thing is to take the perfect course of action at the beginning.......rarely accomplished by anyone. GWB holds the distinction of having the highest voter approval ratin...

Neil.....we all make mistakes. At the time, Iran was perceived as the greater threat. It wasn't so long after that, that Iraq gained that position. If my memory is correct, we were using the Iraq/Iran war as a sort-of pay-back for the earlier Iran hostage fiasco......by supporting Iraq. Which of the...

Heh.....that'll teach me not to ask a woman any question about a motor-vehicle. She told me it was a Vespa. I saw the "MP3" logo on the back of the thing, but thought it had some other meaning. She probably just bought it at a Vespa dealership, that also sells other brands. Thanks for the links........

As with all these sorts of threads, there are relevant issues not directly concerning the OP......but closely related. So I guess you need to follow along closely if you're interested. 3-wheel [scooter] and some micro-cars.
I saw one today for the first time, and talked to the owner. Very unusual. Two wheels on the front, but the thing banks just like a normal cycle. I wonder if anyone has actually ridden one, who could answer questions. It looks like a flat on one of the front wheels could be fatal......easily. This o...

VanWaGuy...... Don't feed the trolls. It just encourages them. And don't be too hard on the guy. He's about to endure at least four years having an American war hero as the president. Since I currently use both the Zipang and the Ninja, I can say this.....If you are having CPU temperature problems with a properly mounted Ninja using it's supplied fan, a Zipang won't help much. It might lower the board temps somewhat, if you use a more powerful fan than that which is supplied with...

Your design is similar to my last SFF from last fall. The PSU is external, the Ninja is right next to the outer wall. If I would lay this over on it's side, it would perform about the same as your drawing. The difference....my setup has no intake fans. And my exhaust fan (the only fan), is in the mi...

A can of compressed air, if held upright while spraying, is usually plenty safe. I've used a vacuum cleaner with a brush nozzle without any problems for a long time. With optical drives, power supplies, various ports, completely outside the case, you have a big airflow advantage. And you can come up with a design much different from the norm. Two fanless hot video cards in your proposed drawing.....problematic. Never having tried such a setup, I can only guess. ...
