Wait!, The 1700+ is available in the B core...that is the one you want as the core is larger and will dump the heat faster to the heatsink. The A core was terrible for overheating, the core was very small and the heatsinks had problems absorbing the heat from such a small core. Get the B core, get t...

I was thinking the Shuttle small form factor modified would work, The mods are pretty basic, but with the size of the little thing, would require a different case cover. The mods are basically this, to put a Panaflo L series 80x15mm side intake fan were the video card is located and put in a 300 wat...

You have to measure it somehow! The good thing about all that performance is for the newer games, the extra ooomph gives the opportunity to increase quality, and turn on all the goodies. :D Is the cost worth it? Not in my book! It all depends on how much that performance is worth to you. I love the ...

It probably puts lower voltage to the fan than 12V, He said in the review that the fan put out 24 CFM instead of the 62 CFM you quoted for the fan at 12V. Sounds like the "big, slow spinning" fan is running at 5V. That would make sense. Interesting PSU, I think I should pick one up for my son's comp...

You could always put an 80mm fan on the SLK900, The 92mm overhangs a little on each side of the heatsink, the 80mm would not do that and just push air through the fins. I think a 92mm Panaflo L would push more air at 5 volts VS 7 volts of the 80mm fan. Have been using two Panaflo L 92mm case fans fo...

Now for them to become available and to be able to cool a Barton cored Athlon (my next CPU) The 92mm fan on the bottom of my Antec TP 430 PSU will pull some air across the tower to help cool it better. I read a review on the net about that card and the huge heatsink. It was the quietest 4200 and they took the fan off and screwed on an 80mm one. It cooled great and was basically almost silent. :D Take one of those 18dB/18CFM fans and screw it on. Quiet and cool. 8)

Vantec makes a 60mm fan that uses a thermal sensor,
Very quiet when it is cool, will spin up when the going gets hot. Not sure if a 60x25mm fan will fit (don't have a PS2) but you can mount it external to the case intake and see how it works. 8)
