When is an RMA not an RMA
When it's a case... There's a field for serial number on the ticket form, but unless you're inquiring about a PSU, you don't fill it out. There's no serial number on our cases. On our power supplies, it's on the bar-coded sticker. The sticker may be immediately visible upon opening the case, or you ...

Thanks for the love!
Appreciate the good report and just wanted to let anyone whom needs it know what the location is for the Ticket system. http://www.antec.com/newticket.html We get to nearly all of the tickets within a business day. Make sure you type your email address correctly. If you need parts, include your ship...

http://www.supereasybuy.com/ssproduct.asp?pf_id=1011269719 Those guys say they have some. I don't have any idea when more will be coming. We have been launching new products for a little while now and getting the supply chain filled with those it taking all our time. You might just consider the NSK ...

Ahhh, the SCIF!
Memorize... Don't Compromise.
Loose lips sink ships.
and is it just me or do the STU-III crypto keys look like they came out of a toy labelled "Ages 3-7"?
but quiet? I have only been in one 'quiet' room in my MI career and you couldn't be in it alone.

Cool Mod
Nice mod Mojo! Pic? I keep a list of links that I send people who might have the same annoyance with a case as someone who fixed it. It's simply impossible to make a case that everybody loves, so I like being able to help people find solutions that fit their taste. That's kinda how I ended up as the...

Power Supply Location
Putting the power supply in the bottom of a case has one drawback and several benefits. The drawback is when some power supplies have short cables, cable routing can be a challenge. Sometimes an inexpensive extender is required for one of the motherboard power connectors. With CPU coolers getting he...

dB delta
Ambient noise??? It's an office... hellooo!! Being right on top of the computer made a delta of only 3dB over minimum ambient. Your post reminded me to put the meter where I can take it home for the weekend. I'll see if I can turn off everything in the house and create a "night or quieter" env...

thermal imager???
I've got a NeoHE 500 in my 900, so no Fan-Only connectors are available to me. Just set the switch to L and call it good. Exactly like I did on the demo system that I built for a LAN. It's now a desktop for someone at the company so I hunted it down, dB meter at the ready. Holding the meter 4" from ...

Buzz Buzz
Square-waves and active PFC don't play well together. If you don't want buzz, then make sure UPS output is sine-wave. Some UPSs will not buzz when getting power from the wall, but make a racket when powering from battery.

Nice work
Two things. First, I will forward this along with the information that it has the strongest swell of support I have seen behind any single product mod I have seen. Second, I've seen this comment many times before in other places. Many times it is simply that we shouldn't open up the top like that. F...

twisty tidbit...
Many case designers use that twist-out method for their front 5.25 bay shields. The little plus signs that you see punched out are there so that you can jam a phillips-head screwdriver in it and wiggle it back and forth to break the small tab on each end. If you need to flatten down the resul...

Mini P182 Secret Weapon
One of the things some people miss is that if you remove the middle HDD bay, there's room for a full-length video card and it still holds 3 hard drives in the upper bay. Sorry if some people don't like the vents on the front door, but when we made the case short, we lost a lot of air intake volume o...

It's on our website in a few places... You can go to the BigBoy page at http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=75200 and click on the product flyer which will bring up the pdf that is available directly here: http://www.antec.com/pdf/flyers/BIgBoy_sellsheet.pdf Or you can check out the pd...

We too!
Putting the Big Boy fan on the side wasn't needed until people really started wanting to build the 'V8'. The NINE HUNDRED had the 200mm Big Boy on top with three 120mm fans around the case, and that was enough for any mortal system. Put in that Tyan ExtendedATX mobo with a pair of quad core ...

Had to open it...
I put 850's in our NINE HUNDRED cases when we build demo systems and the PSU fan is quiet as the grave. If the fan controller is not functioning properly, that is a warranty issue. Your only option should be to get it swapped out either through Buy.com or Antec. Hopefully it's still within time to e...

As of right now there are no plans to discontinue P180/P180B even after P190 is shipping. If P180 sales volumes fall then yes we'd dicontinue it. Also expect changes to P190 compared to what's been seen/shown. I don't know of any changes right now, but it's still relatively early in P190's developme...

I put my 4 HD's in the lower chamber, and use the stock fan (low I think, possibly medium) along with my Trio 650. So far HD's are in the mid 30's C. Remove the upper hd cage and you'll see a fan bracket that holds a 120mm. If you don't install hd's into the upper cage, you can use the wire bracket ...
