Painting P180 panels - how to prepare?
I wanted to get new doors and a front panel to convert my P180 from the original silver to black. In order to buy the panels from Antec's website and have them shipped would cost almost as much as buying a new P182. So I've decided to paint my existing panels. Now, these panels are aluminum, but I r...

9 3.5" bays and 6 5.25" bays that I could convert as well.
I've never heard of the brand before; is this new?

Need suggestions for server case - the more HDs the better
I'm looking for a new server case to replace my InWin Q500 24" tower. I'm needing something that will hold a minimum of 8 hard drives, but the more the better. I would like them all to be soft mounted on grommets, like my Antec P180. Other than that, I don't care what it looks like. What should I be...

As far as I know, the power should not be an issue. It's a newish house and I'm using a high-end APC surge protector/power filter and we almost never have blackouts. I'm wondering if I may be drawing too much current in my room. I've got 3 PCs powered-up sometimes, along with a 19" CRT and a 24" LCD...

Seasonic S12-500 dead...again!
I purchased an S12-500 with my new system in November, and a week after I bought it, it died. So I got a new one, which was running fine until yesterday...then zap. It would power-on for a second then turn off. I know of the issues with DFI motherboards but I have an Asus A8N-SLI and I haven't seen ...

P180 New Front Panel (not just the door)
I'm posting this in a new thread so it doesn't get buried in the discussion about the new door. For Those who have received new doors, have you received a new front panel along with the door? If so, does this new front panel have a magnetic power button with no power symbol on the face of it? Are th...

Fan locations on the P180 - anyone tried this?
Has anyone tried mounting a fan below the optical drives in the P180? I realize there is the fan bracket attached to the front of the case right below the optical drives, but I want the fan to be closer to the MB chipset and vid card. I want to mount a 120mm fan below the back edge of the optical dr...

Silencing a GeForce4 Ti4400 - Worth spending the money?
I just built a brand-new silent system based on the P180. Now I want to take the jet-engine out of the old system and make it run quiet as well so I can run them side-by-side and still sleep in that room. The old system is an AthlonXP 1800 based in an In-Win Q500 tower case. So far I've swapped the ...

I think my S12-500HT just blew - system damage??
I was setting up my new silent system (A64 3500), which has had more problems than any other computer I have ever built, I was installing a small app in windows when the screen went black. I thought it had rebooted, but on closer inspection nothing was powered. I tried the power button to turn it on...

Trying to find ATX12V 4-pin extension cable in Vancouver
Has anyone been able to find a ATX12V 4-pin extension cable in the GVRD? I don't want to buy it online - I'd rather not have to pay shipping, duty, etc. on a $3 part.
