How can I undervolt a 120mm panaflow?

The 120mm has the big hard drive type power connector, with only two pins being used. But I don't really know of any way to slow this puppy down as my fan controller only supports the small fan connections like on the 80mm panaflow fans. So is there any cheap hardware or a connection so I can hook i...

If you want real performance don't be suckered into getting a 2.4c or 2.6c and ocing it. I bought a retail 3.0c and have it had it stable at 3.5 ghz for two weeks. Maybe you could do that with a 2.4c or 2.6c but i'm not a fan of playing the CPU lottery. Doing just fine with a Zalman 7000 cooling it,...

I feel maybe I can help you out a bit seeing as I have almost the exact same setup. I have a retail P4 3.0 ghz C and a Saphire 9800xt (exact same as ATI afaik) I have this all in a Antec Sonata, with the stock 120mm case fan and two 80mm Panaflo's. Right now my system is NOT quiet. I'm trying to setup a few fans on my Vantec fan controller, but I'm running into problems getting the wires and fans anywhere near each other.

Arctic Cooling VGA Cooler on a 9800XT?

I read that they don't fit on the 9800 AIW's but I was wondering if anyone knows if they'll fit on the new XT's

Zalmans web boards seem down for me, but I'm wondering if a Zalman heatpipe will even fit on an AIW 9800?

Well I took the plunge and modded my xbox to have a 80mm panaflo in it. My temps seem higher but there's a guide at xbox-scene.com (which I also used as far as replacing the fan went) that tells you how you can use some cooling paste and it'll apparently help drop temps. If you're interested in doin...

Good luck with that, as from my personal experience the Xbox is pretty damn loud as is, so it'd take some serious work to make it quieter.

It would have month long spats where I would audibly hear a few clicking, grinding noises and then I'd lock up. I'd panic, backup and prepare for the eventual crash... which never happened....
