just been looking at these coolers on http://www.overclock.co.uk, think the XP-90 is £25 and XP-120 is £31, off the top of my head. No idea on p+p though.

cheers likif, nice to have the assurance! I'll try Prime95 and see how I get on, plus I'll probably change the switch on the 120mm fan to 12v/7v to see what the 7v works like on the noise vs. cooling front :)

chassis airguide filter = higher CPU temps :(

Hi all, been experimenting with quieting my PC but keeping it clean inside, which leaves me in a quandry :? I've just built up a newish (ie with some old bits) system with an Antec SLK1650B case/ PSU, Sempron 2400 (stock), Artic Cooling Copper Silencer (not thermally controlled), Seagate 7200.7 and ...

wow, now that's what I call a flaming! Of course you can have high turbulence and low air flow - what do you think happens when an aircraft stalls? As for flaming someone for posting a subjective opinion - what's your problem? That's what people on here are looking for! The majority of posters on he...

Point of View FX5200 running fanless

I've got a Leadtek 340 FX5200 card that runs fine passively (and that's without a huge HS, just the original one). I had an exhaust blower under it in my old case but my new case is cool enough not to bother with. HTH!

Anybody swapped out the exhaust fan of an Antec TP350?

Hi Aleksi,

thanks for the heads up - I checked out the stickies yesterday (including draining the PSU, useful one that!). The PSU exhaust fan pulls so little out of the PSU that I'd be surprised if a replacement upset the ratio. Still, I can always stick it back in if it does :)

Calling All Good Fans!

I've got an Antec 120mm from a SLK1650B case going spare if you want it? Let me know and I'll get it in the post straight away :)

Anybody swapped out the exhaust fan of an Antec TP350?

Nuts! My first post and I already make a mistake! Yes it is a Smart Power (slaps forehead) and it does have the 2 fans. It's strange though that the exhaust fan makes so much noise (after about 15min from switch on) yet pushes so little air. When I put a new fan in I'll report back and let you know ...

Antec SLK1650B

Crikey, I thought my new SLK1650B was rather nice :( Here's my views as a newcomer to this: stock 120mm fan is very noisy (persistant rumble and air noise), though does push alot of air out. A cheap £1 Ebuyer fan was alot quieter. PSU is pretty quiet until it's pushed, then exhaust fan starts soundi...

Anybody swapped out the exhaust fan of an Antec TP350?

Hi there :D just bought an Antec SLK1650 case (been bitten badly by the silent PC bug) which is rather nice, but after swapping out the case fan the PSU is now the noisiest part of the PC. I was thinking of swapping out the 80mm exhaust fan for a quieter model as it seems to be the faster spinning o...
