You would do fine with a 300-400watt PSU. Yep Neil, I bet that for Capable of supporting an i7 based system with a single high-end VGA or SLI mid-level cards. a 300W PSU is OK and a 400W is ideal especially for a silence freak. :D I'd say to pick Corsair HX520/620 or Enermax Modu/Pro82+ 525/625. Or...

Pro/Modu82+ 425 is plenty but I suggest to take a look at Nexus Value 430, it looks like it's new king of silence.

Thanks in advance for the fan profile setup tips. You can do it in the "old" way with many fan profiles linked to GPU temperature or you can do it in an elegant way altering ADT7473 controller data. Open RivaTuner, then Power user tab (answer Yes at that question) and we seek RivaTuner \ Fan. Doubl...

Don't bother with TJMax value. Keep distance to TJMax >20 and forget about temps. This is the only value that triggers your CPU thermal behavior (throttle or thermal shutdown) and is read from your CPU on-die sensors. You can play with TJMax value as you wish, put it higher to scary your friends wit...

Try this
It keeps my E8400 @3.6GHz under 70°C in Linpack. Fanless.
Similar with Bolt-Thru is Scythe Stabilizer or Xigmatek Crossbow.

Odd that your test show very different temps than here. Of course, my friend has a Quad @3.3GHz not a Presler. I don't want to compare with SPCR testing only with my friend's testing. All those heatsinks were tested in one session. Anyway Megahalem is the first heatsink better than TRUE. He is surp...

Re: GTX260 owners please respond, need some information

Same card ID but mine looks like SC one. http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/1083/gpuzgtx260qp5.png Same 1400 RPM at 40% fan duty cycle default. It's not very noisy ...
