Nothing. I intend to built a prototype even before i have the case. I'm a bit unsure what case i will get, but these are on my list sofar: Coolermaster Stacker (black) Yeong Yang YY-0221B (black) And perhaps: Coolermaster Stacker 830 (although i'm not extremely fond of it's exterior design) (it migh...

It may not have been the best use of english but it basicly comes down to this:(heart set on might have been better, because what i sais isn't often used in relation with objects) Really wanting something. I guess it's normally only used with people(and perhaps a cause that you find important); like...

The S12 430 should have a medium speed sleeve bearing fan. A review has been made, but whoever made it said MikeC still needs to approve it or something like that. The S12 500 is said to have a high speed ball bearing fan, i remember someone here saying they got a review sample, but there was someth...

A few questions about the Yeong Yang YY-0221 (server cube)
This case (the black version) is on my "cases to consider list"
Although there are a few posts about this case, it's a bit limited.
Are there any elements of this that are bad noise wise?
Excluding the stock fans, fan mounting and harddrive mounting.
General comment is appreciated too

Why is elastic suspension better than rubber mounting?
Would a large enough rubber block of a certain size(and the right rubber) be able to achieve the same as elastic suspension. If so, what kind of rubber and how big. I have very little experience with quiet computers, but i'm considering what mounting options will be acceptable for me. (trying to thi...

Do flexible 92mm fanducts exist?
I've searched here and on google, but with no results so far. Most flexible fanducts seem to be 80mm.

If you know the max power level of the fastest model then the "CPU Power by Kostik" should do the trick: http://www.silentpcreview.com/Web_Links ... id-19.html

The 6-pin is a connector for high end pci-express graphic cards. Nvidia 6800 series has one, the 6600 series and lower don't need them. It's not for SLI, sli generally requires a molex to be plugged into the motherboard near the slots. If you don't have a high end pci-express card then you won't nee...

The presence of active PFC decreases efficiency(according to antec specs), will it only lack the extra few % in it's best range(86-88%) or will it lose it everywhere(making the psu very inefficient in the low areas? (72% at 65W is already low, below 70% would be bad) I might be mistaken of my idea a...

A question or two about the Phantom 350
Has the failure rate of this psu decreased?
Do the coils hum (in the review) in every sample or was it just the one reviewed by spcr?
Are there (fanless) psu's more efficient than the phantom 350?
Is the phantom with Active PFC more efficient in the lower ranges?(50-100 W)

There are two very different roles for hard drives, namely: 1: Operating System, Software, Documents, etc For that a quiet (40 GB, maybe a bit larger) 2,5" drive is probably the best choice. 2: Storage, Games, etc For that a larger 3,5" drive is better suited. You at least have to consider the two t...

I made a small mistake, the review i read a while ago(about the Caviar RAID edition) said that RAID0 performance of the SE was not up to par compared to other drives. Do Quiet 5400 RPM 2,5" SATA drives exist?
I know there are quite a few 2,5" inch drives available, but very few seem to be SATA drives. Anyone know of a quiet SATA drive. I'm considering getting a 2,5" drive for the OS and non-storage purposes. Should i give hope on the availability of a 2,5" SATA drive within a few months?(and if i get a p...
