Perhaps Nomad News is what you're looking for. I'm not using this program so I can't comment. Like Beyonder and many users, Google Groups is what I'm using. Nomad News is supposed to be a good newsreader according to the reviews, and it handles alt.binaries newsgroups and yEnc.

If you could find a Windows XP Pro CD (not a Corporate version but a retail or OEM version), it's possible to reinstall the OS using the CD Key provided by HP. The recovery CD normally reinstalls the OS and all the default applications. The last time I saw an HP recovery CD, there was no i386 forder...

Frizzbee Hard disk Cooler from Nexus
Nexus is now offering a HDD cooler called the "Frizzbee Hard disk Cooler" . It's supposedly inaudible but I'm a bit skeptical. It uses a 60mm fan (sleeve bearing) @ 1500 RPM, an Nexus claims that the noise level is below 15 dBA. If it's true, it could be a good complement to HDD suspension, but 15 d...

The first thing you should do is to turn off the automatic restart feature. Your computer reboots on startup because of a BSOD, and Windows is by default configured to reboot your computer when this occurs. In the control panel, double-click on the "System" icon, then, under the "Advanced" tab, clic...
